After reading of all the horrors of cannabis and hashish, I still missed the part of the discussion which justifies jailing people for cannabis. None of the putative evils of cannabis justify arresting people, imprisoning people, stealing their property and (literally) enslaving them. (Or shooting them, should they resist.)

This is the crux of the matter: justify the Rightness of police guns and prisons against cannabis users, if you are able.

On the other hand, if you can't justify arresting people for hashish and putting them in prison (like they do all around the world), then plainly say so, please.

Arrests. Jail. Prison. These are the salient issues people have about cannabis where I come from. And yet, these are the very things that somehow get ignored so often when talking about cannabis. Why is that?
The article is just simply about cannabis and its real effects, not the laws associated with it. I remember reading Semjase talking about our laws, that they were so illogical and inhumane to her that she was getting tired of their study. She said that somewhere between 90 and 95 percent of them were at least constructed wrongly and many of those were inhumane, if I remember correctly. She gave a percentage calculation of those, of which I do not remember the exact number, unfortunately.
re: "She said that somewhere between 90 and 95 percent of them were at least constructed wrongly and many of those were inhumane"

That sounds about right to me.

Corruptisima republica plurimae leges.

In the US, most laws seem downright predatory.

There is, effectively, a government class - and the rest of us (those the US Government/Corporations treats as enemies: US citizens, and most everyone else).

It certainly feels as if the vast majority of US laws are used as means of preying on the people, and as tools to steal their wealth and property.

Well as I have also experienced from these illogical humans some years ago where Michael and I were disparaging of these people's irrational conduct and comments I found that all they were interested in doing is cantankerously vilifying and condemning Billy Meier as a fraud.
They really like to jump on the bandwagon of the supposed authority figures like Gene Steinberg and David Biedny, Jeff Ritzman and TerraX or E.Visser and other like-minded stooges and theatrically go along on a bender into the never never land of plausibly denied.
But this is the classic example of where most of our humanity resides and I guess it won't improve for a very very long time.
Like some Pavlovian experiment gone terribly right as soon as you mention Billy Meier's name outside of the ufological forums which has nothing to do with the subject you still have people saying he is a fraud.
Imagine how harsh the truth will be for them when they actually find out that all along what Billy Meier said was true.
At least many people did hear about his case and that Billy Meier's name is actually on the map of the collective consciousness.
If Billy said by 2029 his mission would have successfully completed then I am guessing that 2029 will be the year of his sudden death.
Overpopulation is the cause for this style of thinking on Earth. Too many new spiritforms that Creation created and they are trying to evolve in a world that is mainly here for higher evolved spiritforms. The odds are against us in finding groups of people who are willing to understand the problem.
If Billy had a grand entrance they would listen more carefully.:) Unfortunately the maturity of the whole is not there yet, there are many egos that want to be the ones delivering the truth. They are probably asking why did they choose this man to help us why not me? The easy answer would be to accept that knowledge can come from anyone or anything OR self created knowledge of the egomaniacal kind that have no bend in there delusions of grandure that will lead us further away from our full capability. Truth exists within all times and spaces it just needs logic and reason from the masses to gain steam.
Ok, have to think of another way to approach it. Or that just wasn't a receptive forum.

What gets me is this: there were a number of predictions made via Billy and friends. They were recorded. Many were fantastic sounding at the time but they came to pass. Isn't that the crux of the matter? I'm trying to piece together what I can here and I have not yet assimilated all of this material. But there ARE some really tantalizing bits here.

Maybe select the juiciest, best, most provable of these examples. On the one hand, distill and soundbiteize this in an agitprop fashion so that the point gets across fast. Like, "Billy was told of X in Y. Years later, X happened. We can't un-write or un-publish that book." Then have the scholarly citations on this site.

But, I think you've probably done all that already. Maybe that wasn't the best forum. Pearls before ... dullards like myself take a while to catch on. I heard Michael Horn on a Sri and Kira show about a year back. So the outreach is getting the word out, it is having an effect.
Billy: "... it has always seemed to me as if those irresponsible persons in America – who constantly cry for war, the death penalty, murder, manslaughter, and terror – see themselves as supermen but see all other people of other nations, races, and religions as subhuman creatures and as dog-people and scum."

This may seem harsh, but, as one born on a U.S. military base, as one born and bred in America, as one who has lost dear family members to the constant wars and military adventures launched by the American government, what Billy says here sounds rather accurate to me.

And yes, sadly, far too many American people consent to this power-hungry madness.

We have a saying in America - which touches on karma and sowing and reaping.

"Those chickens will come home to roost."

But we could turn things around - it is not too late. Some, many, Americans do not consent to the lying, the killing, the stealing, and the destruction. It is possible that sanity can take root, even there, and prevail.

We, Americans, do need help.
Interesting. Is there also any correlation between the morally bankrupt Americans and those who consider themselves to be Republicans or are Democrats just as bad or is it wrong to stereotype Americans into those 2 political parties? I think that the political party association is probably irrelevant when it comes to moral values of Americans but it just seems to me from what I see in the news that it is the Democratic party that generally try to stop war and its the Republicans that start them. I could be totally wrong here but I'm thinking of Obama (ending Iraq War & Afghan War) and Clinton (intervened/ended Yugoslavian War) and Bush Sr and Jr (started both Iraq Wars and Afghan War).
Jamesm, in the U.S. the "two main parties" seem to be a kind of a technique by which the corrupted political process there may be kept as predictable as possible.

As far as I can tell, so-called Republicans and so-called Democrats alike, with little disagreement, heartily support the many foreign military adventures that are launched in the name of the American people.

Sadly, most American adults seem to be taken in by the propaganda-river, which frames things dictated by government in a "bipartisan" way - as if agreement of those "two" parties was the same as reason, or was by definition correct, or was same as agreement by most people.

Small, so-called "third parties" in America are systematically locked out at all levels of the political process.

For example, to even get candidates on the ballot, non-Democrat/non-Republican parties (like Socialists, Libertarians... or anyone) must exhaust their budgets each election getting many thousands of signatures on petitions. That's just to get on the ballot. And there are many such things. Lip-service is paid to a free and democratic political process, but in reality America is now far from it.

Sometimes the two parties in the U.S. are sarcastically called "The War Party" - emphasizing their vast and singular agreement when it comes to empire building, war-making, and other forms of foreign military adventure.

I think the message people are intended to get is that the U.S. Democratic Party is a "peaceful party of the people" or "of the common man".

American Republicans, on the other hand, (to the rich) peddle a message they are "Pro Business". And to everyone, at the same time, Republicans also sell an interlocking message of paternal moralistic authoritarianism, with a thin veneer of hypocritical religiosity.

In truth, the American Republicans/Democrats have become two sides of the same bellicose coin.

We saw that pattern play out again in America the in last presidential elections, where political platitudes of peace (hopeful words), gave way to more of the same actions: perpetual war.

Still, I know in my heart we are capable of much better.
