Auch auf der Runde war Billy nirgends zu sehen, und in seinem Büro brannte kein Licht. Für mich selbst dachte ich, dass es wieder einmal an der Zeit wäre, dass etwas Interessantes geschehe; eine Nachtsichtung z.B. oder sonst etwas. Gegen 0.35 Uhr ging ich auf das Garagendach, um von oben die Gegend ein wenig zu beobachten. Nebst auf meine Augen, die das Gelände absuchten, achtete ich auch genau auf Geräusche. Mit leichtem Herzklopfen drehte ich mich sofort um und leuchtete mit meiner Taschenlampe nach unten, um dann erleichtert vertraute Umrisse wahrzunehmen. – «Salome Billy » rief ich und ging die Treppe zu ihm hinunter.
