Und weiter: Wie ein Zelot, resp. ein fanatischer Glaubenseiferer, sind meines Erachtens auch Sportfanatiker und Extremsportler aller Art, wie auch deren Anhänger eine Form von Zeloten sind, eine eigenartige Form jedoch, aus der einerseits glaubensfanatisch und bewunderungsfanatisch für den eigenen Sport oder für Sportler sind, andererseits aber auf die Sportler – egal ob Fussballer, Bergsteiger oder Rennfahrer usw. – in der Weise eifersüchtig sind, dass sie diese beneiden.
