Basically ''our'' (opinions do vary) position ''generally'', to use an analogy, is to concentrate on seeing if it holds water by engaging with it one on one. A riverologist, in terms of learning about a river - there is a fair amount that can be learnt and gleaned by just looking at it; observing its currents, flow, direction etc., with plenty of founded assumptions possible. But to really know, it's best to test the water; paddle, wade in, and when comfortable, dive into its depths and check - same principle for a doctor determining what is medicine and what is not. The information is clearly interesting, and for many good and decent persons, the information has agreed with them. The decency of folks that have surrounded Eduard, stood with him, from all over the world and over many decades, has certainly encouraged us to take a better look, and we have.
