The Great Deluge was a worldwide flood that occurred in the year 9545 BC as described in Asket's Explanations - Part 4.
300 years before this, a King Sahluk had a son named Saurid who had a strong ability to see into the future. In a dream, Saurid saw a great comet (The Destroyer) which pulled along seven smaller comets behind it, which collided with the Earth with terrible roaring sounds, whereby darkness came upon the world.
